Are there herbs that you really just don’t care for? I know for me there are certain ones that will out-right ruin a dish. I’ve gathered a lot of tips from other websites and decided to make a post about it for reference. It’s not every herb under the sun, but it’s all the ones I use regularly.

| Italian Seasoning | Blend of any of these: basil, oregano, rosemary, and ground red pepper |

| Parsley | Chervil or cilantro |
| Poultry Seasoning | Sage plus a blend of any of these: thyme, marjoram, savory, black pepper, and rosemary |
| Red Pepper | Dash bottled hot pepper sauce or black pepper |
| Rosemary | Thyme; tarragon; or savory |
| Sage | Poultry seasoning; savory; marjoram; or rosemary |
| Savory | Thyme; marjoram; or sage |
| Tarragon | Chervil; dash fennel seed; or dash aniseed |

Great list! I’m printing this out and sticking it on the inside cover my recipe notebook. There are quite a few times when I realize I don’t have the right herbs and I never know what is a good replacement for them.
